Well it's finally the first of November and that means it's time to start writing that novel.

I got an early start today and began on a later chapter because I knew I was going to be out of the house today and planned to write the introduction by hand. As my time this morning ran out I checked the word count and found that I had managed to ramble on for 1,000+ words merely in the introduction to a major section to the novel. Funny it doesn't seem that long when I re-read it.

At this rate I'll hit 50k before finishing all the connecting text.

Yes I did write a good chunk of the introductory chapter while out of the house but after typing it all up I'm tired. It was nice to finally be able to write down physical descriptions for the two main characters. Now if I'll stop typoing this will go faster. I know, I know we're really not supposed to stop to edit but mis-spelling words is really annoying especially if it's something really stupid like reaching to hit a key but not quite hitting it before going on to the next letter.

My hands are tired so that's as far as I'm going today.
